MARUTHI E82 is suitable for cutting, chamfering and piercing all types of steel, cast iron and non-ferrous metal. It strikes easily and achieves clean cuts even on thicker materials owing to its high current carrying capacity.

Applications

Used for beveling, weld preparation, crack preparation, and gouging of armour steels, air-hardening steels, stainless steels, cast irons, hard metals, work-hardening materials, and difficult-to-machine materials.

The resulting surface is clean and does not require further dressing. The metal removal rate depends on the electrode diameter, selected amperage, and thickness of the workpiece. For best results, using a quality power source is recommended.

Instructions

Set up the workpiece to allow the molten metal to run off easily. An up-and-down sawing movement is recommended, pushing the molten metal away with the electrode.

Adjust the amperage according to the electrode diameter and the thickness of the material.
